FAQs

What are Interlocks?

Interlocks is a term used to describe a form of hair locking. It is a method/technique used to start locks. Locks are referred to as “locs”, microlocs, interlocks, and other names are used to describe this beautiful hair styling option.

What is the difference between micro-locs, interlocks, and other forms of locks?

There is more than one method/technique to start locs. “Interlock” refers to the technique of starting the lock foundation. Since “interlocks” is a technique, the size of the locs can be any size you choose. Over the years knowledge of loc sizes has expanded and we no longer only see large size locs. Micro refers to how small the locks’ foundation is.
